Very nice rooms tastefully furnished.Bar and dining room were equally good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location.

I think you have a problem with the food. The meats on the carvery were good but the vegetables looked and tasted as if they had been cooked for hours or reheated. They were not appetising. We went in to breakfast at 8.20am and ordered full breakfasts sadly that also appeared to have been cooked very much earlier sausage hard as were the eggs and the mushrooms were very dry and vastly overcooked. Iam sure these problems could be easily rectified.Based on this experience I would not stay at or recommend your hotel to others.

It is a nice quite hotel in a country location & well placed for touring north yorkshire. The shetland ponies are delightful.

We have few comments - the time slot for breakfast could have slightly long for a Sunday morning. Some of the guests were slightly noisy for our taste but that is not the hotel's fault at all.

Comfortable room and spacious. Enjoyed our evening meal and would recommend the roast salmon.

The piped music in the bars and reception we found rather monotonous and intrusive. Were told this is selected by a computer and suposed to be relaxing but we'd rather it was switched off!!

Very friendly staff. Room nice and clean. Restaurant good value especially the carvery. Good breakfast. Home made cookies were nice.

          Bulb missing in bedside light.

The service was excellent and the staff were all really friendly. We travelled with a small baby and required a cot at the last minute. There were no problems and one was sent up immediately. Room service was excellent and we ordered food around 9.30pm which was no problem at all either. Breakfast was not dissapointing either, although the website mentions choices of breakfasts which didn't seem apparent when we went down to the breakfast room. The decor of the hotel was fun and interesting, although the dinning room lacked the sense of glamour as the reception. The rooms were of a good size and the bathroom was very nice. Unfortunately we thought our room and breakfast room was just too hot and uncomfortable, and probably wouldn't stay here again because of that reason.

Unfortunately we thought our room and breakfast room was just too hot and therefore uncomfortable, and probably wouldn't stay here again because of that reason. In winter, it maybe perfect!

the staf werevery helpful and pleasant. therooms were clean and everything you needed. Fanastic views

Eventhough the rooms are very clean, they are small and the decor and fittings areof a cheap quality. The breakfast although in the room brochure was advertised as served atyour table, was a buffet even down to your toast. So most of the food tasted fresh the sausages and bacon were very dry and pretty much inedible. Coffee one small pot between 2 and no offers of a refill and the staff not about to ask for a refill. So on reflection rather expensive for what you got.

staff very friendly and helpful. Room comfortable and clean ,food very good and the breakfast was brilliant. It is a very quiet hotel with beautiful countryside. We originally booked for one night but decided to stay for two. Would have stayed longer if we had the time, but are planning upon returning soon, and have recommended it to our family and friends.

Great hotel, some very nice detail touches in our room and around the hotel. Good quality for a fairly reasonable price

The general layout of the hotel was good and user friendly. The staff were personable and very welcoming taking the time to talk and advise of features and things to do. Very good experience.

          Too short a stay!

I only live ten minutes from this hotel and just needed to get away for the night, But I never knew we had such a fantastic hotel right on our doorstep. Its modern , funky, foods great, rooms are better and the staff are top notch. I will not be travelling miles and miles any more looking for the ideal retreat, I found it right under my nose. Thanks to all at the Jersey Farm. See you again soon.

Not a fault on the hotels part but on this websites description. We booked executive room which was fantastic, but described as scenic views. Well if your into car parks, gas bottles and wheelie bins its right up your street. There was the odd glimpse of the countryside between these objects , but dont let this put you off. Still a great experience.
